Welcome to your journey of creating beautiful zefir peonies
In this course, we teach the foundations of piping peonies and give you plenty of practical tips to set your piping skills up for success. While practice is the key to success, certain technical instructions can make your piping more efficient and help you achieve the desired results faster.
We show you how to pipe two types of peonies using two different piping tips, starting with an easier technique and progressing to a more advanced one. At the same time, we demonstrate how to pipe a variety of flowers for both styles of peonies, from small buds to medium blooms to fully opened flowers with elaborate centers.
This is an excellent course for beginners or for anyone who feels stuck in their current technique and wants to expand or change their piping style.
What you’ll learn
Every perfect peony was once a first attempt.
What transforms them is dedication, hours of practice, the right recipe, and never stopping to learn. The recipe and the knowledge? We've got you. The dedication and hours? You can do it!

Absolutely! This course is designed for everyone - whether you're picking up zefir for the very first time or looking to expand your skills with new styles. No prior experience is necessary; we all started somewhere!
The course covers two techniques: we recommend beginners start with the first one, but with practice you'll be ready to tackle both - and we encourage you to try! If you already have some experience, you'll find plenty here to elevate your work too.

If you're just starting out, we recommend beginning with our Tulips Mini Video Course - it's a great introduction to working with zefir and will build your confidence before diving into peonies. That said, many of our students grab both courses together, and honestly, we love that! Having both gives you so much more to work with and keeps the creative momentum going. The two courses complement each other beautifully, so if you can - get both and enjoy the full journey!

Absolutely, yes! The reason we often recommend starting with tulips is that they give you a feel for the zefir mixture and the piping motion tends to feel more straightforward for most students. But peonies are a different kind of magic - you're not just piping, you're actually creating unique, one-of-a-kind flowers. And if you feel ready for that, go for it!
We've seen complete first-timers pipe really beautiful peonies on their very first attempt, so it is absolutely possible. Trust yourself and dive in!
