2 DAY WORKSHOP IN OC: HYDRANGEA/PEONIES/ ROSES

During our 2 day workshop at Keto Bakery OC we mastered the art of piping exquisite zefir flowers, including Coral Charm peonies, Bigleaf hydrangeas, and modern garden roses. We create a lifelike, multi-colored floral arrangement, beautifully presented in a velvet hatbox. The cost of a 2 day workshop was $600.

What We Taught:

Day 1: Understanding and Preparing Zefir

Introduction to Zefir: Learn about zefir, its basic recipe, and essential nuances. We'll cover how to incorporate strawberry flavor into the zefir mixture.

Coloring the Zefir Mixture: Techniques for achieving vibrant, consistent colors in your zefir.

Maintaining the Mixture: Tips for keeping the zefir mixture warm and smooth, ensuring seamless piping.

Day 2: Piping Techniques and Floral Arrangement

  • Piping Peonies: Step-by-step guidance on piping large, medium, and small Coral Charm peonies.

  • Piping Peony Leaves: Learn to color and pipe realistic leaves to complement your peonies.

  • Piping Hydrangeas: Comprehensive instruction on piping hydrangeas and two methods for creating flower centers.

  • Piping Roses: Introduction to piping unified garden roses, focusing on petal count and height for a realistic appearance.

  • Green Color: Techniques for mixing and piping realistic green leaves.

  • Arrangement Assembly: Preparing your hatbox and assembling your floral arrangement.

  • Sugar Dusting: Adding a delicate finishing touch with sugar dusting to enhance your flowers.

  • Final Arrangement: Assemble your flowers into a stunning bouquet ready for display.
